Do not open or enter a tank, cesspool, distribution box, or pump chamber. Unsafe covers, wastewater exposure, electrical controls, and excavation require qualified handling and a protected site.

Written scope
A planning scope should identify inspection, soil testing, engineering, local submission, plumbing disconnection or reconnection, electrical work, excavation, pumping, installation, landscaping, schedule dependencies, and excluded approvals.
Close the loop
Verification
At closeout, retain Board of Health decisions, design revisions, installer records, inspection certificates, as-built location, operating instructions, pump information, and the items still pending before occupancy or transfer.
