Stop all water use and record the lowest overflow, last fixture or appliance used, cleanout signs, street condition, power status, alarms, recent rain, neighboring reports, and verified sewer or septic connection.

Safety line
Keep people and pets away from wastewater, wet electricity, and unstable finishes. Do not repeatedly flush, open an unknown cleanout, reset equipment, or enter a confined or contaminated area.

Local boundary
The Cohasset Sewer Department publishes district, connection, licensed drainlayer, and town-owned grinder-pump resources. A map or nearby sewer does not prove that one parcel is connected or assign a maintenance boundary.
Service flow
Written scope
Separate immediate containment, private clearing, public report, pump evaluation, on-site system service, camera work, sanitation, drying, finish repair, and any excavation. State which result ends the first authorization.
Close the loop
Verification
Document the restored flow under a controlled test, access closure, wastewater cleanup, equipment state, public case information, video if taken, and any fixture that must remain unused pending a second phase.
